Sharrow Point situated just before Freathy on Whitsand Bay is a great place to sit and watch the waves, particularly on a stormy day. It’s very dramatic when the tide is almost in and affords great views east along to Rame Head and west across Tregantle Beach, Portwrinkle and Downderry, Looe in the distance.
On this particular day, the sun was out, the tide was rising and there were small waves. At the bottom of the cliff is this little cove. Though when the tide is out a huge expanse of sand beach is exposed in either direction.
